The residents were surprised to see the dead dolphin that washed up on the beach of Agios Ioannis Pelion of the Municipality of Zagora - Mouresi on the morning of Friday 27/12/2019. The dolphin was about 1.40 cm. He had an external injury to the top and back of his head which probably caused his death. The injury was probably caused by a large piece of wood in the sea or due to the great sea turbulence that prevailed at night in the area and fell on rocks, resulting in fatal injuries. The relevant services were informed in order to proceed with his health burial.
