Vrynaina is located in the Othrios mountain range, also known as the mountain of the Titans. On this mountain, after the Battle of Titan, Zeus assigned the nymph Othrida (Othrida) to graze his herds, which consisted of oxen. Thus the mountain got its name from the nymph.
