Description
The "Chromata" tavern (also known as Chromata Beach Bar Restaurant) is located in a stunning spot above the beautiful and sheltered Labinou beach in Eastern Pelion. It is a family-run business that combines magical views of the blue Aegean sea with great food, making this small corner of Pelion a top dining destination.
The restaurant, run by chef Nikolaos Malisiovas and his family, is famous for fresh fish and seafood delivered daily, along with traditional recipes made with modern cooking methods.
- Must-try dishes: Visitors love the crayfish pasta (or shrimp pasta), fresh fried or grilled calamari, traditional zucchini flowers, and local fennel meatballs.
- Sweet finish: Do not miss their homemade desserts, especially the orange pie.
? Useful Information & Insider Tips
- Location & Vibe: It features a lovely shaded porch with a panoramic view of the small bay. It is ideal for a relaxed meal after swimming, far from busy tourist crowds.
- Beach: The business also provides sunbeds on the beach, which is famous for its crystal-clear water and wild natural landscape.
- Planning Tip: During peak summer months (especially weekends), it gets very busy. It is best to make a phone reservation before going down to secure a good table.
