The name of our village was given by its residents, because it is built on the only long ridge of a hill in Pelion, at an altitude of 250m, with permanent residents that do not exceed 800. The view from the first ray of sunlight that successively bathes the village with light, as it rises from the sea, offers you unique peace.

Turning your gaze to the right, you notice a lush green mountain, which gives you the feeling that it embraces the village, leaving a large gap at both ends so that you can enjoy the view of the endless blue of the sea, reaching your gaze all the way to Halkidiki. As a "CELL OF CULTURE" Some people described it in a newspaper article describing the activities and customs of our village, starting from the eve of the Lights and ending on New Year's Eve, thus completing the cycle of a year.

Many refer to it as "Garden Village" since the gardenia was the first flower that brought economic growth to our village, and continues to be first in everyone's preferences due to its beauty and wonderful aroma.
