From the summer of 2009 Pelion acquired its own Theater. The "open theater of Xourichti", with unparalleled views of the Aegean, of unique beauty, 1000 seats and impressive acoustics. The only one in the area of ​​Pelion, having hosted wonderful performances and concerts in the summers.

Who would have expected that a Theater, a symbol of Learning and Peace, Art and Culture, would be built on the site of an old and abandoned quarry. A space was formed with a strong classic element, a space simple and unpretentious as it fits the location, so that the intervention does not disturb the peace and beauty of the environment. It gives the impression of an ancient theater, as if it had been there for many years.
